g'day

Hi folks. Well, my first real day of work was today. I set up around 20 violins in 8 hours...haha. Not bad....I was still getting used to the whole process, but I'm going pretty smoothly now.

Yeah...not much else to say.  If your (sp?) interested, go to http://cincinnatijuniorstrings.blogspot.com to follow along with CJS's Down Under Tour 2008.

bon voyage!

GOOD LUCK CINCINNATI JUNIOR STRINGS!

from a distance, we are instruments...

WOW.

Has it really been this long?

Hmm....okay.....

So. Lots  to talk about, I guess. My brothers, mom, and cousin left for New Zealand/Australia this morning. They're going with Cincinnati Junior Strings to do a concert tour, school visits, and sight seeing. I went in '04 and my older brother went in '01, I think. You could say it's been a tradition for a while, so it's just amazing seeing them (my younger brothers) do what my older brother and I have done...in other words, I'M GETTING OLD.

They'll be gone for 18 days, so I'll be doing some college thinking and lots of reading and cleaning and maintaining. It will be like a staycation.....HA. I guess it will be really relaxing, but all their preparation has made me miss that trip SOOO much! I like traveling and friends, so it is right up my alley! So it'll be depressing.....but at least I will be relaxed...?

I'm going to make a list of everything I want to do with all my time...maybe I'll put it up when I'm done.

Je ne sais pas, sorry for the ne pas interesting post, but Je will parle to you laterzzz bye

*insert creative title here*

hEy NoT mUcH tO sAy.

I'm about to delete my last name from my profile info so the rapists don't find me and try to take my cookbooks. I have a really cool ethnic one and an America's Test Kitchen one.

Maybe it's time to have some yack about summer reading? I guess I could start a sidebar of my reads, but unfortunately that take time, so it's probably a negative for tonight.

WOW I'M SO BORED. *SIGH*

I guess I could do a sports (omg Stephen likes sports?) update. VENUS WON WIMBLEDON WHAAT BUT THAT'S NOT AS COOL AS ME GETTING A 5 (A WHAT?(A 5(A WHAT? (A 5)))) ON THE CHEM TEST

so, lyke, je ne sais pas.

  • I have a wrist brace on
  • I think I'll start Oedipus Rex next
  • I eat when I have nothing to do. I recently had a peach. Hopefully the rapists won't steal my cookbooks so I can cook ethnic peaches.
  • I think I ran out of toothpaste
  • I'm about to run out of deodorant
  • (not that that's a good thing)
  • this bullet list is getting awfully long
  • and I'm so boring and monotonous
  • monotonous has four o's in monotonous
  • omg try typing monotonous fast!
  • it's a tongue I mean finger twister
  • ok I think it's time for me to get off the stage!

GOOD NIGHT BAI

Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally...

...and this sudden surge of melodrama.

DISCLAIMER: The following is, yes, written by me, but does not necessarily reflect a particular experience of mine or anyone that I know. It's called fiction, and although we all like a little drama in our lives, YOU AIN' GON' GIT IT HURR.

Je ne sais pas what this is; take or leave it.

There's always that one person...the one who causes your heart to beat faster than usual with a simple presence. You can't quite figure it out; they have no special look, no unique smell, and certainly nothing out of the ordinary to listen to, so why are you so attracted? It's not necessarily a crush, but just a yearning for companionship.

You normally wouldn't waste this much of your time trying to see through them, but suddenly, it appears as if they are giving you signs. In an otherwise deserted hall, they share a glance with you, and maybe even a smile. In a crowded room, they go completely out of their way to stand by you and start a conversation with someone else in your vicinity. Do they have the same motives as you and fear the same intimidation factor?

Things are looking good...

But wait...you flashback and realize that there was someone else in that deserted hall, and the only spot available in that room was right next to you.

Another coincidence, another heartbreak.
